It’s here! I am so happy to announce that registration is officially open for the 2012 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference. Register by April 5 to save $300 with early-bird pricing.

I hope you are planning to attend this year’s Conference. The US team and I are working hard, and having a lot of fun, to create spaces and events and identify new ways we can help make this the best event you attend this year. We want you to leave Toronto with the right information and connections to advance your business and build your Microsoft practice. Beyond that, we just want to show you how much we appreciate your partnership.

Here is an overview of each day’s focus at WPC:

  • Monday: Solutions (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Windows, Windows Phone)
  • Tuesday: Partner Type (e.g., Services, ISV, OEM, Reseller)
  • Wednesday: Customer Segmentation (e.g, Small Business, Enterprise, Education, Government)
  • Thursday: US Keynote and Sessions

Based on your feedback from last year’s Conference in Los Angeles and your responses to our US WPC Survey, we are featuring:

  • More US-led roundtables with smaller groups
  • A US Lounge in a very convenient and easy-to-find location

My mantra while my team and I plan the US Worldwide Partner Conference experience is "Partnership, partnership, partnership." WPC is an excellent to foster partnerships of all kinds. Attendees have an opportunity to build their partnership with Microsoft and identify other companies that attend WPC to start or deepen partnerships with them. Feb2012_Toronto_HiltonTorontoLobby

One new way this year to nurture partnerships is the addition of regional hotel blocks. The US hotel block comprises four hotels: the Sheraton Centre Toronto, the Hilton Toronto (I snapped a pic of their lobby, right, which is beautiful and comfortable!), the Hyatt Regency, and the Grand Hotel Toronto. Each of these hotels is in a location convenient for Conference attendees, and we think that having space in these hotels specifically for US partners will help foster new relationships and connections. Every year the hotel block sells out, so register soon to take advantage of the space and of the $300 early registration discount.

I hope to see you in Toronto in July. Join the US WPC Community, and follow my WPC 2012 blog posts at http://aka.ms/uswpc12blog to stay informed and connected to all of the US activities we’re planning. It’s going to be great!
