For this week’s BPOS support video we learn how to configure e-mail address forwarding for a Microsoft Exchange Online mailbox. E-mail forwarding allows users to automatically forward e-mail messages, which can be set up through a user’s account rules. With PowerShell, IT admins can also set up e-mail forwarding on their users’ behalf. The video below walks us through using PowerShell to configure and cancel e-mail forwarding for a Microsoft Exchange Online mailbox.

  • At minute 3 you mention that you can forward to a Distribution List if you want to forward to multiple people. This does not work - I had to go through support to get this done.

  • Is there a way to view the forwarding that is already set? I do not want to add or clear forwarding, but run a query to see which users have forwarding enabled and to which addresses they are forwarding.
