We got our hands on three great support videos for BPOS Directory Synchronization. These videos will help you maximize your potential while using Microsoft BPOS.

In our first video we take a look at Installing and Configuring Directory Synchronization. This video walks us through an introduction to Directory Synchronization, or DirSync. This video also describes the purpose of DirSync and prerequisites to utilizing DirSync. It then helps us set up DirSync with a full walkthrough of installing and configuring the DirSync tool.

In our second vide we learn about Using Directory Synchronization. The video walks us through two scenarios that demonstrate prime examples for utilizing DirSync.   • I'm a consultant and have been implementing BPOS for small companies. Our niche is to service companies under 75 employees. Many of these companies have only 1 server, which is SBS. The AD Sync tool cannot be installed on an AD server. These companies have no other server. The only option is to install another server or enter all these users manually into the BPOS system. It would be great if the sync tool could be installed on an AD server. When will that feature be available.

  • Allan, you can use some other products like BPOS Commander (BPOS-experts.com)...

    You can also create some scripts to do that.
