As you may or may not know, I lived in Fargo, ND for the last 17 years (working for Microsoft with the Dynamics group for 10 of those), and that community is  getting hit with a record flood.  I have been a bit distracted with how my friends and family are doing.  I have watched my Facebook and Twitter fill up with ‘sandbaggers need here’ and the school kids being bused to (indoor) locations to do their service too.  They have pulled together and I wish I was there too filling sandbags.  When you pour water on a table top, it moves fast & for a long distance.

So, this post really has nothing to do with learning specifically.  I just wanted to give a call out to the Fargo/Moorhead/NoDak folks and all our MSL team members located in the Fargo office.  These type of things, sadly, do happen throughout the world, and I, for one, wanted you to know that some days the time and energy needs to be concerned with the realities of today, rather than fighting today’s business deadlines.  Always a balance…

I always have an ask at the end of my posts – this is mine for the day – when life’s realities are in front of you (down turn in the economy, the environment, life), how can I / we / Microsoft Learning / Microsoft help?  I will pass on feedback :)
