Just 13 days left to WPC and it’s set to be one of the best yet. WPC is designed to be the springboard for our new financial year giving all attendees clarity on our strategic direction, how they can align their business with Microsoft and most importantly make money! This year, not only is WPC based in a fantastic city, but we’ve got some great announcements that we think will make doing business with Microsoft even easier and give you further opportunities to develop profitable cloud models. In addition, our new CEO, Satya Nadella, will be keynoting. Satya is truly inspiring and personally I’m excited to hear his take on our mobile first, cloud first strategy and what this means for partners.

I’m really looking forward to take the opportunity to connect with many of you, hearing your reactions to our announcements and understanding what you need from us in the UK. Our UK regional session is set to be really exciting with a mix of both partner and Microsoft speakers and the UK party will of course be the only ticket in town worth having!

I’m also excited about the year that FY15 is shaping up to be. My team has spent the last six weeks planning for our new financial year and I’m really pleased with the line-up of resources and programmes we’re designing to support you to build profitable Microsoft practices. We’re investing heavily in training, particularly around some of our newer technologies such as Yammer, Azure and Enterprise Mobility, we have strong investments in through partner marketing and we’re working on an exciting programme aimed at supporting you develop new business models . Additionally, we’re also working really hard to align partners to all of our customer marketing to ensure that every single customer opportunity has a partner attached as when we work together we win more.

I’ve been in role for six months now and have learnt a lot about how we can support you, our valued partners. I remain passionate about learning what we can do differently, so am really open to your comments and feedback.
