On Monday 31 March 2014, Microsoft's global cloud advertising campaign will launch in the UK.

Positioning Microsoft as #1 company for cloud, the campaign is innovative in that it's the first we've run that tells a fully connected Microsoft Story - showcasing Microsoft cloud services through real customer stories. 

Through these Microsoft customer stories, the campaign will showcase how businesses of all kinds are truly empowered when their cloud is versatile and customisable.

Microsoft Cloud Story

The Microsoft cloud story is brought to life via four solution pillars; Insights, Productivity, Social and Platform! Each pillar illustrates the “better together” story as it encapsulates Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Power BI for Office 365, SQL Server 2012, Yammer, Lync, Office 365, Windows Azure, Windows Server and Microsoft System Center.

Customers featured are global brands or customers with strong stories demonstrating the real value of Microsoft's cloud.

The Lotus F1 team tells us about “The cloud that helps win the race”.

Many other customer stories will appear both at launch and in due course.

Campaign Customer Landing Environment

To get an idea of what the campaign page will look like, you can check the US version of the site which is already live www.microsoft.com/microsoftcloud. From 31st March, if you're based in the UK and you click on that URL or enter in your browser, you will automatically be taken to the UK customer environment featuring localised case studies and providing further information on Microsoft cloud solutions. 

The site is an excellent location to introduce your customers to Microsoft's connected cloud solution.

Getting the Message Out

From Monday 31st March, we'll be promoting this across a full range of UK media channels including:

  • Print advertising -  Keep your eyes peeled for single and double page spreads in major national newspapers and magazines such as :- The Times, Daily Telegraph, The Independent, The Guardian, Evening Standard, the Economist and Management Today (to name but a few)
  • TV will feature the Lotus and BA stories and appear in high profile programming across Sky, ITV, Channel 4 plus digital video on demand.
  • 100’s of high impact placements in top UK cities and key locations such as the M4 corridor, Key Airports and Canary Wharf.
  • Other planned media executions include Radio, Online, Social, Events, PR, Email and Telemarketing.
