We have been working very closely with Microsoft since we started out, and there are times, like those moments spent reminiscing about BPOS with our customers, when we wonder if there’s a better market or partner we could have chosen.

Looking at how far we’ve come and having doubled in size every year - accolades must go to Microsoft. Having entered and won other awards in the past, we considered entering the WPC awards to further strengthen our tie, so when Microsoft advised us to submit an entry, based on our success in recent years and our Hybrid Cloud solution, we decided to give it a shot – and we are glad we did!

WPC 2013 was our first WPC experience and it was therefore a unique experience going for the first time and being crowned as the World Cloud partner SMB 2013. I felt that all the hard work we had put in the company had finally been recognised. Winning the award has really paved the way for us to achieve our expansion plans - to keep doubling in size and long may it reign!

How winning the award helped us grow
Our model as a small SMB has always been to provide cloud support, so it was a massive boost for the customers who followed our recommendations, and with whom we implemented cloud infrastructures, to find that their partner is a leader in the field. It goes a long way when recommending the latest and greatest when it comes to cloud technologies, and negotiating contract extensions!

In terms of new business, the award has completely shaped our sales pitch. It has allowed us to approach and attract larger businesses and ultimately sell more MS licenses.

It also benefitted us because the majority of companies still see the cloud as the great unknown. Winning the World Cloud Partner of the Year award helped us become to ‘go-to’ company for customers requiring Cloud information and solutions.

My tip for an award winning entry
Passion, passion, passion.

When I wrote my entry, I talked about what I really enjoy doing – this involves finding clever ways to help our customers that are not just cost effective, but are resilient and future proof. If you are not passionate about what you are doing or writing, how can you expect others to be passionate about your product?
