I don't see a reason why the Gateway Server needs to be in a domain (many DMZ setups do not include AD domains) and a member of the product group also posted in the public OpsMgr newsgroup that the Gateway Server does *not* need to be a domain member (see also news:9B68C787-9FD9-42B9-BB9E-75DE26270813@microsoft.com).&lt;/p&gt;
