  • The sections of the KB article which describe the Xplat and UNIX/Linux updates and installation refer and link to updated management packs for UNIX and Linux; however, the management packs available at the link appear to be the same management packs which have been available since April. Have the updated UNIX/Linux management packs just not been posted yet or does the link in the KB article need to be fixed?

  • @J.C. Hornbeck, Kindly is this Rollup 3 include all Previous Rollup 2 and 1??

  • Looks like the updated management packs are up now.

  • Okay, here's another question. I installed this on my test system today. The KB article lists the file version of the updated Xplat DLLs as 7.5.1025.0. After installing this update package, the version of those files on my system is only 7.5.1024.0. Is there another update file for the Xplat stuff that needs to be installed as well or is the KB article wrong?

  • Upgrade from UR2 to UR3 worked just fine on SCOM 2012 R2 UR2 for us. However, for SCSM 2012 R2 UR2 and ORCH 2012 R2 UR2, the installers are crashing (running as Administrator) with an error saying that the "upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer Service because the program to be updated may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program". Additionally, while SCOM found the UR3 updates in Microsoft Update, SCSM and ORCH did not. It's as if SCSM 2012 R2 UR2 and ORCH 2012 R2 UR2 are not being detected as being installed, even though the UR2 installation on both went fine, and the UR2 update is shown in Add/Remove Programs. We've done reboots, etc., but still the updates don't show in Microsoft Update and can't be installed from the downloads on the Microsoft Catalog. Since we did SCOM 2012 R2 UR2-->UR3 first, this has left us with different version between the components. Any idea what could be wrong?
