I just wanted to post a quick note to clarify support for OpsMgr on Windows Server 2012. For Operations Manager, the only version that will support monitoring Windows Server 2012 is OpsMgr 2012 (including SP1). However, it is possible to have an OpsMgr 2012 agent report to an OpsMgr 2007 R2 Management Group.
Update: Here’s a common question we get so I thought I’d add it here:
Question: Can I monitor Windows Server 2012 with an agent using my OpsMgr 2007 R2 management group?
Answer: Yes, however this is only supported by leveraging an OpsMgr 2012 agent. The OpsMgr 2012 agents are supported when connecting to an OpsMgr 2007 R2 management server or gateway in an OpsMgr 2007 R2 management group.

So does this means that Windows Server 2012 Management Packs will be supported for SCOM 2007 R2?
Need an hep in configuring CPU and memory threshold ,I would like set up double threshold monitoring for CPU and Memory when CPU/memory usage exceeds90% we should get warning alert and if usage goes beyond 95% we should get an critical alert . How can we achive this ?
Thanks in advance for your help
The Base OS MP can be imported in a 2007R2 management group - www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx
This might or might not be true for individual management packs - the statement here refers to the AGENT binaries only. Most MPs will be written with "backward compatibility" in mind, but this is not necessarily true for all of them.
