All we are saying...

Today marks the milestone of 4,000 US soldiers killed in the Iraq War.

Yesterday (Easter Sunday) marked the 50th anniversary of the Peace symbol: ?. The venerable symbol was originally designed in 1958 by Gerald Holtom and was used by the British nuclear disarmament movement in an Easter protest march against the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment at Aldermaston in England . In the 1960's it became a symbol of the anti-war movement. The symbol itself is the combination of the semaphoric symbols for "N"(uclear) and "D"(isarmament).
