One for the Easter weekend....sometimes life can pass you by and you have to look at what is truly important. The post below said a lot to me about how people change when they get something they didn't expect - have a read then mosy on further down this post:

Some questions spring to mind:
I have blogged about passion before and often it's this passion that makes the difference, maybe just the passion to say the truth, maybe the passion to help others just to be better.
Now here's a secret - I used to be absolutely terrible at presenting (still am - Jazz hands and all that) but now I enjoy it following a few very handy tips from a TV presenter who gave me a little hand a few years ago. Be yourself - and people will link to your passion and maybe not agree, maybe not buy your idea but they will enjoy the ride..dont be afraid to be passionate if you love something. The moment to be afraid, is when you need to hide what you are passionate about, because of those around you.
Happy Easter to you all!
Thank you for your lovely words. I discovered the true power of the small gesture one hot August friday afternoon when I brought ice creams back to all my wilting colleagues in the office. People talked about it 6 years later at my leaving party!
My father was both a gentle man and a gentleman and instilled door-holding, standing for ladies, good handshaking, lots of "pleased and thank yous" in me. Powerful stuff, made all the more powerful these days for their rarity.
Sad.
Absolutely agree with you, sometimes just a little fore thought can go so far!
