Redfin (a Seattle company - http://www.redfin.com) just switched their AJAX search site over to use the Virtual Earth platform.  Not only is that cool, but they did a very nice write up of it compared to Google’s mapping software which they previously used - check out more here:

Great site and really nice to see the differences charted by a customer who has used both, they commented as follows:

In the end the race was close as the platforms are very similar in many respects, but Microsoft Virtual Earth was the best fit for our requirements. The table below shows how they compare: http://blog.redfin.com/blog/redfin/2007/01/redfin_...

This post also caught my eye as a cool piece of work using IM etc: http://blog.redfin.com/blog/redfin/2007/01/seattle...

Enjoy!
