Not a ton of news this morning.  It sounds like the iPhone is going to release June 29th.  I'll admit, I am interested in this thing if only to see if the hype pays off for them, and because I love good competition, and because it has some interesting features.  If you are among those who are sitting around hyperventilating over it here's something to read in the mean time - Gartner Hype Cycle.

The ForeFront Business Security Solutions announcement is interesting.  I'm looking forward to digging in to this.  Things like this make me wish there was an Enterprise version of my favorite podcasts, they seem to only dwell on consumer software these days.  Here's a scoop from the press release:

The Forefront solution, codenamed “Stirling,” is a single product that delivers unified security management and reporting with comprehensive, coordinated protection across an organization’s IT infrastructure.

Most importantly, this is the week of TechEd 2007.  For those of you who just decided IT is an interesting place to be - TechEd is the largest yearly Microsoft event.

With this in mind, I am looking forward to some announcements trickling out and interesting reports from people who are there.  For the rest of us, don't forget most of the sessions are online at -

Virtual TechEd

So you have no excuse for being behind the curve this year.  As for me, I'll be tuning in to everything PowerShell, Server 2008, and Virtualization related.

Just heading out to watch the keynote now.  Ah... delivered in high quality Silverlight!  Love the B2TF spoof.  :-)
