On February 10th, members of the entrepreneurial community from Silicon Valley, Europe and Taiwan came to the Microsoft Taiwan office as the 5 teams selected for the inaugural batch of Startup Labs Taiwan were revealed. Startup Labs is a seed-stage fund led by Clint Nelsen, co-founder of Startup Weekend and Arkady Moreynis, an entrepreneur and investor. Participating startups receive seed capital, mentorship and technical support during this three week program to help early-stage startups succeed and advance their growth with financing and support from influencers.

Members of the BizSpark and Microsoft Taiwan teams were on-hand to provide briefings on Microsoft’s startup programs and technologies; the event attracted nearly 200 entrepreneurs and investors and several mentors from the startup community.
