Agenda
Module 0: SDN Overview:
This module describe the purpose and general functionality of SDN and highlight the Business value of the Microsoft Azure inspired SDN solution

Module 1: Introduction to SDN Building Blocks:
This module discusses all components that needs to be considered before deploying Software Defined Networking with Virtual Machine Manager 2016

Module 2: Network Controller Deep Dive:
This module covers the network controller architecture, the network controller host agent, and how to deploy and manage network controllers

Module 3: Routers and Muxes Deep Dive:
This module deep dives into routing protocols like BGP and how is used by the Software Load Balancers to provide load balancing and HA.

Module 4: Multi-Tenant Gateways and Distributed Firewall Deep Dive:
This module deep dives into Multi-Tenant Gateways architecture and components and how can be deployed using Virtual Machine Manager 2016 to provide Hybrid Clouds connectivity. This modules also covers how the Distributed Firewall works to provide Tenants Networks isolation and Micro-Segmentation for Multi-Tier applications

Module 5: Troubleshooting and Network Offloads:
This module describes the SDN troubleshooting tools, commands and resources available in TechNet and GitHub. It also deep dives into Network Offloads like RDMA, VMQ, VMMQ, vRSS to maximize the SDN stack performance

Der Workshop ist ein Fortgeschrittenen Workshop, der in die Tiefen des Software Defined Networking mit Focus der neuesten Windows Server 2016 Technologie abtaucht. Erfahrungen in Netzwerk Konzepten und Windows Server werden vorausgesetzt.
