Just look at how the cell phone changed from the early 2000’s to the present era. Many people can still remember back in 2004-05 when the concept of the flip and button phone was the norm. Who knows what the next concept might be of the future. The topic of online privacy is becoming a major issue of our current generation. Video surveillance, credit card tracking, and passport RFID chips are becoming the norm and all of these things have one thing in common which is to make privacy as we know it a thing of the past. The question that must be asked at some point is whether or not all these technological advances are really good for society or just a futuristic plague that is gaining momentum and strength. The rapid rate of technology advancement in society needs to be reduced to avoid negatively affecting the job market and threatening privacy.</p>
