I am over 60 and have not had training in computer technology. I am also unwell and would simply like to use my computer without being bombarded with ads and sneaky programs that steal information and ruin my time on the computer. I tried to buy a program from AVG and they wanted me to pay an additional $169.00 to "clean" my computer before they could safeguard it. Funny thing; I had been using their free program as a safeguard before purchasing one. Now,I can't go anywhere I'd LIke because my pc is unresponsive. I don't have extra money to buy anything lately. Can microsoft help me?
