I think that if you have a blog, then it is what you need. Tell people about something, someone is advertising, to somebody else for something else. Personally, I think so. The references to the 1873 depression is spot on, except the parallel is the inflation of railroad in 1873 and property in 2008. Unfortuantely it took about 17 years before the 1873 panic was finally overcome with the 1880s being a very hard time economically. Let's hope we can fix the problem before it reaches the hard times of the 1880s. I can only wish that CEOs at the Banks had the insight that SteveB has. Microsoft = Making it happen

Inspiring indeed. I'm proud to work for such a positive thinking company. I only wish there were more companies with our mind-set. It's not only about Steve B., we all think the same way! Something that I would like to have seen in his speech is a reference to Benjamin Franklin: Success is measured by 99% persperation and... well the rest you know. Yes I am very proud that the CEO of a very successful technological company could have such philosophy that we all would like to hear from the great ECONOMIST. No doubt, Microsoft is BIG because of a BIG thinking, BIG baseline, and BIG and strong foundational thinking.

Excellent one. Steve hasn't minced words accepting the -ves and ground realities and had optimism which can take US back to old glorious days. Finally a CEO who thinks about country more than bagful of bonuses.
