No one, pirating software, would have ever bought them... so the loss is totaly null for all individual users in fact it is a huge opportunity of free communication about Microsoft products and with no doubt it was what made Microsoft at the top of software manufacturer in the world. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; The best now to comfort this advance would be to sell all software to companies with often humain verification of the licences but also to give it for free to individual users. It would be a real loss in short terms but a real plus on the long term on relations between public (those who works in companies) and between Microsoft communication.&lt;/p&gt;

This is all about profits. MS couldn&amp;#39;t care less about their customers other than getting their money. This is not about protecting customers from buying counterfeit software.
