While this focus on academic achievement has helped raise education standards in South Korea, an increasing number of youth are finding it hard to keep up with the competitive demands of today’s job market.
Hans Andersen Club (HAC) is a nonprofit organisation with a strong focus on the wellbeing of children and youth. Aimed at enabling the holistic development of children, HAC promotes reading-related activities to help them adapt more easily to a knowledge-based society.
On 21 February, we celebrate International Mother Language Day, aimed at promoting linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism.
