Today in San Francisco we unveiled KIN, a new Windows Phone designed for broadcasting and sharing everyday moments.

You can watch the launch event and read all the KIN news on the special section on the Microsoft News Center

If you want to dig deeper you can visit the KIN site, for videos, demos and product specs.

Thanks to a partnership between Microsoft, Verizon Wireless, Vodafone and Sharp, KIN blends the best of the phone, online services and the PC with some great new experiences such as Loop, Spot and Studio.  Social networking is built in to the fabric of the phone, making the people and stuff you love the focus.  Constantly updated and bringing together feeds from Microsoft, Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, KIN puts everything and everyone you care about in one place.  Sharing pictures, videos, links and status updates is easy and fast so you can stay connected.  For music lovers KIN features a Zune experience.

The hardware was developed in partnership with Sharp and includes two models.  Both feature touch screens, slide-out keyboards and cameras.  KIN TWO also includes the ability to shoot HD video.

In the words of Robbie Bach, president of Entertainment and Devices at Microsoft, “KIN is the one place to get the stuff you care about to the people you care about most.”
