BizSpark One member Rdio, a social music service, announced the launch of an on-demand, ad-free music service in the US, providing access to all of the full tracks from Rdio’s catalog of 12 million songs. The amount of free access a user will receive will be determined dynamically through his/her listening behavior. Rdio plans to generate further awareness of its service through this approach, and convert more free customers to paying customers.
