Last week the Microsoft Accelerator played host to Hacker News Meetup as they celebrated their first birthday!  About 150 people gathered to network, devour giant cookie cakes, and hear a great talk by Brian Hall, General Manager of
Internet Explorer, Hotmail, SkyDrive, and Messenger businesses.  Hall gave a very interesting overview about what it’s like to work on some of Microsoft’s less loved applications.  He also provided tantalizing glimpses into
the new Internet Explorer and Outlook (Hotmail) interfaces – stay tuned!

Hacker News members mingle before hearing Brian Hall speak.
