About Mark Empson's Blogalot

This Blogalot is all about me giving back to the IT community.  I have been working in IT all my career now (since 1991, wow, I am feeling old!) but worked with computers since 1981 (now I feel really old!)  Throughout that time I have worked on no-end of systems, performed no end of migrations and even coded two games.   I have now reached the pinnacle of my career, which is to work for Microsoft. Thanks to the team I have joined, I have been through a massive learning curve and really been pushed to a greater technical plane.  Now its time to give back.  Help all those people who are working their way through their IT career and make their lives so much easier.
