&lt;p&gt;What are your thoughts on SP2 having enhancements in it along with the bug fixes and security updates etc? &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Doesnt this make testing prior to deployment harder and therefore take longer? &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Cant we get enhancement packs seperately (like the Reporting Services release for SQL 2000) and keep the SP's purely targetted at fixes for known issues? &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What if the enhancements are buggy, some sites may need to remove that but would then be faced with taking off a service pack too ...&lt;/p&gt;
