Thanks for the interest in MDOP. There are a few ways to get it. For testing purposes you can get it from a TechNet or MSDN subscription. For use in a production environment, the machines must be covered under Windows Client Software Assurance (SA) and then you must purchase an MDOP subscription. Once you have done this, you can download the software from the volume licensing service center.

The schools you support will need to do this. If you were to purchase SA and MDOP it would be for your company and not be for the machines at the school.

Hi, im aIT technician for many different schools, im independent so dont have any of my own Volume Licences. How do I get a copy of MDOP and is there a cost
