VMC2HV Import tool–update for 2008 R2 SP1

It sure has been a while since I coded the VMC2HV import tool. I originally developed it for importing VMC files from Virtual Server 2005 to Hyper-V. And if you are wondering if anyone is still using Virtual Server? Guess what… there are still many downloads...

This is great news especially since it contains virtualization enhancements like Dynamic Memory and Remote FX. It is not available yet, general availability will be February 22nd. See this post on the Windows Server Division weblog.

Although this has nothing to do with virtualization, it has everything to do with great tools. I have always used WiX for my Installer (Setup) projects starting with Visual Studio 2005 and higher. Now, version 3.5 has been released for Visual Studio 2010...
