What was microsoft thinking?

if you have 1000 users/logins using standard security connecting to sql server 2000

if you want to transfer this logins WITH password none of the WIZARD or SSIS work they copy only the login name with a random password to sql 2005, do they accept me to go and change 1000 passwords!!!

i have used the script method and it works fine

i did a migration this way and it works :)
1)use the attach, dettach method to copy the
database only if you are using the copy database wizard DONOT select logins under select releated objects window
2)run the script EXEC master..sp_help_revlogin
