Just a quick post this morning and it is geared to everyone running in Disney or anywhere it gets hot. I had a great run on Saturday morning, and felt strong throughout the 15 miles. My one thought when the alarm went off Sat. at 5:30 am was, crap, I want to sleep more. I also knew it was about 38 degrees outside. Even more incentive to stay in bed. I did get up and I did get to running, as I was running in the pre-sunrise dark. This also reminded me to enjoy the cool and early runs. Because if you are like me and live in a place that gets hot running without the sun is a blessing. Additionally I was reminded that in Disney we start running at 6am, so good race day preparation. Then I was also reminded that for Disney I was up at 3am and had to be on the bus by 4am for the race. So I was thankful for the extra 2:30 of sleep. Have a great week!
