Alright Keith and I are at it again and this time we want to give away the cool stuff like a:
Lenovo T61P!
Okay do I have your attention now?
As some of you may recall we had a contest last time just for the MVP’s and a lot of you wanted in on the contest. So guess what we listened and you’re in! We have decided to have another contest, and for this contest there is no MVP qualification necessary!!
To enter you just need to be a technology professional and enthusiast from the U.S. In fact we asked our legal team to see if we could exclude MVP’s this time, but they said Keith and I were being mean, and that was coming from lawyers. :-) Just kidding.
So if you are a technology professional and enthusiast all you have to create for us is a screencast video that will showcase:
Why Windows 7 is the clear choice over Linux and OS X!
So your saying to yourself I can do that how do I enter, keep reading!
The screencasts entries will be judged by a blue ribbon group of IT Pro superstars and will be judged on Creativity, Presentation, Inclusion of Microsoft Technologies and Effective demonstration of Windows 7 value.
Here are the prizes:
So what do you have to do to enter?
My team mates, Matt Hester and Keith Combs, out of Dallas are hosting another contest.  This contest
I want to participate, but I'm from Argentina, can we make an excpetion? If I win, I'll pay for the T61p shipment taxes :)
Cheers!

Here we've got a great opportunity for the community to come up with some positive material to attract some attention to some of the great things that Windows 7 has to offer.
I had a neat little upbeat video in mind...then I read the T&Cs - way to go MSFT - alienate and exclude the entire world ouside of the United States :-(
“Isn’t that your favorite laptop you’ve ever had?” Yep.  This is the model I have two of, that I
First off Foo, were not buying anything, we are giving away stuff. BTW watched the video, not that impressed take a look at a real work load here: http://blogs.technet.com/keithcombs/archive/2008/06/07/new-laptop-windows-vista-sp1-virtual-machine-world-record.aspx
Daniel, thank you for the feedback and Keith and I are still learning about contests. We are taking small steps and went from several hundred in our first contest to several million for this one. If this contest goes well and we can handle the video workload for the U.S., then we will look at the possibility to go global.
I really enjoy video when it is used to convey concepts in technology.   Matt Hester and Keith
