Well the training is hitting the road for the next two weeks. This is a fun thing but also my travel schedule is going to prevent me from getting my long runs in for the next two weeks. This is a good thing and a bad thing. It is a good thing from the sense my legs, I think, can use the break, it is a bad thing because I will miss the mileage. However, speaking with some fellow runners and trainers this should not impact me too negatively, as long as I get the weekly runs in to keep the legs loose. They all said do what you can and enjoy the rest.
So where am I headed?
Well this week, as some of you may know I am in Los Angeles at PDC this week, and going to get some good runs in during this week, I will have plenty of time in the morning to get out and get going. My hotel, which I will ask a trivia question another post, has a decent gym with some good treadmills. I am going to try and get out and run to around echo park, according to the concierge it is only about 2 miles away. Note to self always wear a watch, last time I ran and got a distance that was “about” x miles away it was about 2 miles longer. :-)
As for next week, where am I headed? Stay tuned but I will have to learn a new language if I am going to eat. :-)
Have a great week, and remember this phrase I got from Brian:
Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile
