Good afternoon all my Mobile device managers!  I just heard that System Center Mobile Device Manager (SCMDM) 2008 has gone RTM!

This is a great release, also in my last few weeks I have delivered a few TechNet Radio Interviews about mobility and we chatted a few times about SCMDM:

Here is some more information about SCMDM:

  • Device Management solution that integrates directly into a Windows Server infrastructure
  • Full, Over-The-Air device provisioning
  • Automatic deployment of targeted applications to devices
  • Secure data channel from the device to the corporate network
  • Enablement of core LOB scenarios in a mobile environment unlike before
