Hi Serd, Its not dependent on model but base operating system. Any genuine OS XP SP3 onwards is valid for the promotion/upgrade.

i have problem when using windows 8 upgrade assistant. it stated "we couldn't process your order" when i click buy after put all my payment information, but on my account history has been charged for it..

and make it worst, i've try it for 5 times and it cause 5 time of deduction of money.

i'm using bank islam debit card.

Can it be upgraded to Windows 8 Ultimate (if any) or upgrade to Windows 8 Pro only?

Hi Victor,

No, the Windows 8 upgrade offer only applies for Win 7 PCs bought between 2 June 2012 and 31 Jan 2013. So if you bought your laptop last year, then you don't qualify for upgrade offer.

Hi, I bought my laptop sometime last year. Do I still qualify for the $39.99 upgrade? Can I then use that license for a new desktop?
