TLS encription is not working for outgoing emails so users receive errors authenticating to SMTP Server randomly (error 5.7.1 User is not authenticated)

User experience is very poor.

I can't found any other solution for my customers than arrange the upgrade to 2010 / 2007.

I would appreciate a better and extensive communication from Microsoft about why is this happening and which are the reasons to generate this confussion in users / partners about O365 and Outlook 2003 compatibility.

Regards,

We are finding that it runs really really slowly when you are searching for anything now.

I'm not sure that the public folders are caching on pcs or not.

I'm wondering whether there should be limits on the number of messages that are stored within a single public folder?

I remember being told to keep all top level mailbox folders to a limit of 5000 messages in order to keep outlook functioning at a decent speed.
