We tested Lync on our Macbook pro's and it crashes most of the times, sharing your desktop is very very slow.

We did the same test on a Windows laptop and Lync works great.

Right now Lync is a no go area for Mac users, sorry to say. We hope MS will update the software very soon.

I have to say Lync for Mac is such rubbish - why does Microsoft put up with this?

The bug list is as long as my arm, they are well known and "being worked on". Why then has there been no public update since April 2012? How about we have monthly releases of fixes? Quarterly even would be better than this.

And for that matter why is the 14.0.2 release not public? Is the software too buggy?

Can we expect some of the more sophisticated phones with tethering to show up on this list at some point? The Polycom CX600 comes to mind...

I've tested this new version (on Mountain Lion) and i confirm that several USB devices are now correctly supported.

We successfully used a CX300, jabra 9470, jabra 9460 and jabra 9465.

With the different jabra model we can now get the line directly from the headset and set the volume.
