I just want to decrease the font size of the contacts so I don't have to scroll... Heck even a Small/large choice like Windows icon selections would be nice... this thing looks like it was designed by Fisher-Price or Mattel... "The cow says, "MOOOOOOOOOOOO"

We've been using Communique Conferencing for Lync audio conferencing www.communiqueconferencing.com/microsoft-lync-audio-conferencing.asp. The service works fantastic. They even have global toll free numbers.

I was annoyed that I could not find a way to wrap lines of test in communicator, decided to leave feedback and was sent here - Now I am really annoyed! Why can't you have an "email to someone who cares" feedback like everyone else?

And, BTW, how does one turn on wrap lines to window?

Sorry, but this is an off-topic comment because I don't see any other obvious way to contact someone on the Lync team. Our company has deployed Lync to all of it's employees so we all have to use it. In general, it works great for me, but I have a gripe. I repeatedly miss when people are either chatting me or finally replying to one of my chats. Often I don't see the little Lync icon flashing in yellow for more than 10-15 minutes. It's way too subtle for a system that is about "instant" messaging. (Part of my challenge is that I normally use 2 screens at fairly high resolutions because I do coding and design work. Therefore the little flashing yellow icon is often on the screen that I'm not focused on and that's part of the reason I miss it so often.) Do you have any more obvious notification options on the near-term roadmap? (like email toast, bringing the dialog to the fore and dimming other windows, etc.) If not, I beg that you consider adding it.

We have Microsoft Lync on all our PC's, but plan to enable enterprise voice office by office. Is there a way to diable the voice component in the Lync client like there was in Communicator?

Please, for crying out loud, my head is going to explode! can you in PLAIN and SIMPLE English say WHAT to write, and not give me some examples!! Suggestion for a new feature:

This doesn't have anything to do with this post but I didn't know where else to put it. Is it posible you could make Communicator dockable to the sides of the screen like AIM used to do? That is, make it so the application can stick to the left or right side of the screen and have all windows stay open around it, as if it reduces the screen size a window can open in. This way you could see who was online at all times while continuing to work.

I'll second @PhoneJill Mute/Unmute would be very handy. (An extra bonus would be to modify the Lync system tray icon to denote that you're muted for cases where the conversation window is not in the foreground).

Lync Team - the Enterprise CAL says it includes "Initiate/Schedule ad-hoc multi-party (3+) audio conference (including dial-out to PSTN and/or PBX user) " yet what I am reading here says that one must have Enterprise Voice enabled (and a Plus CAL) to have dial out capabilities.

There seems to be a huge discrepancy here

The application used to recognize when you were on the phone and automatically update your status to “In a Meeting”. Now the only time it does this is if your Outlook Calendar has a meeting scheduled. Can this be fixed or at the very least can a new status be developed, such as “On a call” when the system recognizes that you are in fact on a call or your phone is off the hook?

I don't know if it's been proposed before (or exists in any obscure tool bar), but an additional useful piece of information for me, with many scattered colleagues across the globe, it would be useful to see not only if they're active or online but what time they are on in relation to my own.

So, for international (and cross state) business it would be beneficial to be able to select to display the contacts time zone description and / or local time.

I would like to know if there is a way to use Communicator as tool for workload status. I.E. I am not busy and need some work to do. How could I advertise that to my contacts visually. I thought of a different color presence button, or creating a note in the change sign-in address that would appear. Any ideas?
