Long time no post. Yes, I've been very busy indeed.
Well, it’s finally time to move this blog to its new home that’s powered by Office SharePoint Server. The URL is http://sharepoint.microsoft.com/blogs/lliu. Although it’s slightly longer to type than http://blogs.technet.com/lliu, you just have to agree that it’s a much cooler looking/sounding URL. J
Anyway, my RSS feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/lliu) will start pulling content from the new blog very shortly, so subscribe to it now, and you won’t miss a thing.
So what's-up with this new "sharepoint.microsoft.com" URL? Will MSDN & TechNet users be converted to this new service?
Some MSDN/TechNet bloggers will move over as early adopters since the new MOSS-based environment is still in pilot mode. There are still many kinks to be worked out. More will likely move over after we get Passport/LiveID integration done in about 6-8 weeks. But until we provide some way of migrating existing content (which is currently not in my plans or budget), I doubt that the majority will move over.
The new blog environment is *not* meant to be a direct replacement of the existing blog environment.
I've been doing quite a bit of community stuff today and have been poking around in all of the community
