The government of Paraguay announced in 2013 that DST period was going to be reduced. With this, DST would be ending fourth Saturday of March at 23:59:59. In order to address this change, we released a hotfix. You can find more information on this blog http://blogs.technet.com/b/latam/archive/2013/03/21/paraguay-dst-2013-fallback-update.aspx.
Last year hotfix only was covering previous year change. In order to make this change consistent for the rest of the years, we released hotfix KB 2935092. This hotfix is now available for all supported operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2.
We want to make you aware that in addition to Microsoft products, other software, OS releases and hardware (phones, routers, switches and managed devices) may require updates and/or changes.
If you installed last year hotfix, it will be necessary to install this new hotfix to be ready for the upcoming DST change.
Install the hotfix KB 2935092 as soon as possible.
Please note that if you adjust the machine’s clock manually, you may have adverse effects on your environment. This procedure is not supported by Microsoft.
