I have an issue along similar lines with Outlook 2003 users on exchange 2010 SP1 ( no roll ups) intermittently ( once a day) getting an error stating " your administrator has blocked your version of outlook " .

Much like KB Article - support.microsoft.com/.../924625

Exchange 2010 --CAS Array on NLB - to two mailbox servers in a DAG . Public folders are replicated from 2003 environment which is still active.

Issue is intermittent in that there are times when it works with no issue and Outlook 2003 can update free/busy and OAB data for users.

It then stops working for a period of time ( half hour ) and pushes out the error. It will then work again after this period of time .

Any help appreciated please in understanding the nature of this issue.
