&lt;p&gt;I tried the concept of cascading autocomplete text in on direction (first txtbox ---&amp;gt; second txtbox) it work well for me. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;what I'm trying to do now is to have a bidirectonnel cascading autocomplete text &amp;nbsp;(first txtbox &amp;lt;---&amp;gt; second txtbox), I worked to find out a solution but in vain. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you have any idea, or any one of the community, &amp;nbsp;it will be greatfull.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Within a larger update panel I am now able to create a modal popup with search functionality inside an inner update panel, which even binds to a datagrid for the search results.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This sure beats calling modalPopUp.Show() every time in the server-side code maintain the popup window. &amp;nbsp;Thanks!&lt;/p&gt;
