I really considered it, but that was one of those, "Hmm.. this isn't really a personal personal blog... more of a personal blog that is company hosted and is mainly for the benefit and amusement of the IT Pro community." decisions.

Instead, I'm going to write to [jerky] Airlines and refer the fact that I've posted my story on my blog (with URL included), so the whole world COULD know that it was them, but I was being nice. This time. :|

I'm glad I live in a little country when 11 hours driving gets from one end to the other (traffic jams permitting!)
and it's only a train ride between my different gigs... :-)

I agree with Tristan, name and blame man. I travel enough, I'll avoid them if at all possible (chances are I know who you are talking about). Good luck, dude, hope you make it home safely!

I say name and shame. If a particular company provided sub-standard service to you, you shouldn't feel obliged to try to protect their delicate feelings.

Well Paul... it gets better. Yes, the move to Chili's helped. At least I flew to Madison... TWO HOURS LATE. Waited to board, and then there were "screws loose" that needed tightening, following the necessary paperwork.

I can't wait to see what my flight out of here to Chicago and then home to Minneapolis tomorrow will entail.

Deja Vu! Just got an announcement that the plane we'll be on is arriving late, so we're being delayed. This is exactly how it all started on Monday.

And also... I just realized that I'm at the very same gate as I was then, and sitting in the very same seat next to the power outlet. <sigh> I need to break the cycle. Maybe if I walk over to "Chili's Too" and get a beer...
