&lt;p&gt;There are, however, clearly quite a few people who think this is a daft name, though. It is a reverse on an earlier MS policy regarding the name and, worse than that, even though it is going to be *called* Windows 7, the version number is going to be 6.1! That just doesn't make sense, regardless of the explanation of why it is so. Trouble ahead when we get to the next version!&lt;/p&gt;
