LiveWebcasts

I’m delivering a webcast this Wednesday on Windows Server 2003 Administration.  Actually, I’m delivering two of them on two Wednesdays.  It’s a “two-parter”.

Part one, this Wednesday (Aug 17, 2005) at 11:30 Pacific Time (2:30 Eastern), we’ll be talking about:

  • Configuring servers using the “Configure Your Server” and “Manage Your Server” tools
  • Setting up various types of cross-forest trusts
  • Using RIS (Remote Installation Service) to deploy a new Windows Server 2003 OS
  • Managing Users with the User State Migration Tool (USMT)
  • Using Group Policy to lock-down a desktop and distribute software

And next week in Part 2 (Wednesday Aug 24, same time as part 1) we’ll be discussing the Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA), Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), and brief introductions to the capabilities of System Management Server (SMS) and Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM).  And who knows but that we might throw in a few extra Three Letter Acronyms (TLAs) just for good measure.

I hope you can join me.  HERE is the link to register for part 1.

And HERE is the registration page for part 2.

See you there!
