Office Live Meeting logo r Today is a great time to check on the version of the Microsoft Office Live Meeting console and add-in you have installed because a new version is available now!

Version 8.0.6362.140 of the console and add-in brings improvements and fixes that include:

  • Support for proxies such as Bluecoat
  • The ability to invite personal Outlook Address Book contacts
  • Enabling a single update to be sent when updating a single occurrence of a recurring meeting
  • Formats valid Meeting Lobby URL’s included in invitations created with the Outlook Add-in
  • Individuals identified as calendar delegates will be able to schedule Live Meetings and conference calls on Office Communications Server on behalf of the person for whom they are a delegate. (Note this relates to the Add-In only and only works with the most recent version of OCS R2.)

The .140 version is the July release and has only appeared in the last few hours…!
