Cameron Fuller (OpsMgr MVP and co-author of System Center Operations Manager 2007 & R2 Unleashed books) is presenting a session that sounds super interesting - called “Operations Manager Evolution”.

Cameron wouldn’t spill all the beans on some cool things he would be doing in the session…. but it will include:

Introducing a presentation technique new to Microsoft technical conferences. (But I bet it will be used again after this – HINT: Get there early!)
Demonstrating combinations of technologies never used together before this session. (would love to say more but it would ruin the surprise)

The guts of the session will focus on some key technology areas: based on his years of field experience with Operations Manager, helping customers implement and get the most out of their investments. Here is an excerpt of what to expect:

Not really directed at you Kevin but I wonder, why wouldn't this be discussed also on TechEd 2011? It's hard enough in this economy to justify to management going to one tech conference let alone 2.

Regarding the comments above - unfortunately the session cannot be downloaded unless you attended MMS - Microsoft provides DVD's but they have control of the content once it is presented at MMS. Regarding the second item, if you want to see this at TechEd 2011 - push this topic with Microsoft - they chooose what sessions are carried over from MMS to TechEd.
