Hi all,

Please take a second to take a look at the changes that I have made to the SBS Community Page on MS.com.  http://www.microsoft.com/technet/community/en-us/windowssbs/default.mspx

I made a lot of initial changes, but there are still a number that need some work. This work is basically a band aid until more help will arrive in the first half of Calendar Year 2007 from Bob Rebholz and the MS.com team.

The Blogs by MS employees portion of the site has been vastly improved, or at least I think so, I got rid of about 4 pages of MS employees blogs that did not pertain to SBS. Now, you will get a list of blogs that are about SBS. What I find really cool is the new addition of this tool on the bottom of the results page.

This tool allows you to search all blogs by Microsoft Employees under a specific product like SBS. You can find it here at the bottom of the page. I was thinking about adding this to the main Community page if people think it works. The only missing element is the ability to search third party blogs like Susan's, Vlad's, etc....  I am in dialogue with Bob Rebholz to see if this functionality could be added.

Let me know what you think. This is obviously not the end of the changes. I definitely need to get the third party blogs listed back up there. For now, I have mostly all of them listed on my blog.

Thanks,

Kevin

  • I figured a new blog post would be better than continuing a thread of comments on the previous blog post.
