Strictly speaking, that's actually the R18 Ultra, which is a non-hybrid version. I'm also not toooo sure I'd like 24 hours in a car with a 45000rpm/500kJ flywheel whining away where a passenger seat would go (first 15 seconds of this demonstrate the noise: www.youtube.com/watch ), but it (or Toyota's supercapacitor version) sure looks great! Not as great as a late-2000s Gulf Lola-Aston (www.youtube.com/watch), but that's a story for another day...

It's interesting to point out to regular people that this is a Diesel-hybrid and not a gasoline hybrid.
