Still not support for SMI-S?
The SMI-S support is not in this release. Assuming you are asking for the SMI-S provider to have SCVMM to manage the iSCSI Target. If you have other usage for the SMI-S provider, I'd like to know. I'm collecting customer evidence to make a proposal.
In short, we don't have any committed plans in this area, but working on it.
Correct, I'm only looking for SMI-S for SCVMM. The iSCSI target is good for demo environments/lab scenarios, but I'd like to be able to demo the full feature set of SCVMM without having to buy new storage hardware.
