Ramblings from another nerd on the grid
I parked next to one of these today. In case you are wondering, it’s the Nissan GT-R. Man, I would really like to take this for a spin. Might be fun to see how it stacks up against blows the doors off the Ford Mustang or Chevy Camaro. For $80,000 it had better stack up pretty well.

I do not even see how you can compare the GT-R to a Ford Mustang or CHevy Camaro....
Seriously, it is a whole different league.
There are some pretty tricked out Mustangs in my part of the world so I wouldn't totally dismiss them, but yea, the GT-R is a different breed of technology.
The video is pretty cool.
In Japan, it's speed limited on the freeways, but when the GPS senses it's on "track", all the limiters are removed to really tear it up.

Excellent video. Is he really driving at those speeds with no helmet and gloves? Surely not.
By the way, I saw another one in the parking lot Monday and it was a different one than I saw after I posted this. So there's a black GT-R and a gray GT-R in close proximity to each other (Southlake Grapevine area of North Texas).

I can have a very smoking Mustang for 1/2 the price of that, that this thing would never be able to hang with. And it would look a lot cooler than this thing. Way over priced considering you can get a Z06 for that price.
